Good food bar. Desserts not fresh. But I enjoyed the meal. The staff is friendly and courteous.

They do not de-vein their shrimp !!!!!!! their plantains were old and mixed in with donuts which were also old , the egg rolls didn’t even have a crunch to them from sitting there so long , and none of their chicken had the same texture . the only reason i am giving it two stars is because i was lucky enough to come in when the LoMein came out and it wasn’t half bad . would i go back ? no . but you get what you pay for .

Best place to eat in 50 miles. Friendly staff, great food, will always be my "go-to" place when I want an all I can eat place.

Possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Sweet and Sour Chicken was made from tiny strips of thigh meat and the rest of the food was horrible as well. I would not come here if you know what decent Chinese tastes like. The only thing that was semi good was the Hot and Sour soup.

I ABSOLUTELY love their chicken on a stick and staff is nice. I just wish they had more variety.best thing is if u ask to get some stuff fresh they actually do it with no problem.

The staff is friendly and the food is great! Don’t forget to check the egg roll section for Linda’s Philly Cheesesteak rolls!

We have been to, Chinese restaurants everywhere we go from, North, South, East, and West and I am a 40 plus years home cooker of anything but, this is the most best 10- star, Chinese Resturant in the, USA. If you are ever in, Maggie Valley you need to go here and eat cause, you will definitely not be dissatisfied. They are awesome and know what real, Chinese Food is! Loved every bite and plenty of chooses to choose from and the are all delicious. Previous reviews please do not listen to negativity cause they are so, damn good!💯💕💕

If I could I'd give no star, horrible !!! I had someone to call me tonight telling me to pick up my order and got they got ugly with me, I handed the phone to my husband because they wouldn't listen to me. They told my husband he was ugly and would give our number to other restaurants. We didn't even order anything and I got yelled at telling me to pick up my order! We ordered from them over the holidays and our order is usually huge, at least 70 bucks. I called the restaurant after he called us and asked to speak to the manager and they wouldn't allow me to do so.I will never order from these people again. Rude!!!!!!

My husband and I eat here once in a while and there food is delicious and all you can eat! The waiters and owners are very nice and friendly! = )

This place is great! My go to spot when I come to NC. Great food and quality for the price. Can't really beat it in this area.

Restaurant has many dishes to choose from on their buffet and sushi bar. They also have carry out and special order available. Many deserts and fruits are also available. The only drawback is the turnover time to replace empty food bins on the buffet during high customer volume. Staff are very polite and helpful.

Love this place.. always great service with wonderful smiles. It may be buffet but it's just what I need at times. I have ate with this restaurant since I was a kid and have never had a bad time or left disappointed

Me and my Husband loves coming here! It always clean and food always hot an fresh! Even if you don’t get the bar it’s still fresh food! If you get a to go box of the bar it’s great also!! The staff is very friendly and helpful!! Great job keep up the great job y’all do!

First time visiting Waynesville, as always, we love a classic China buffet. As a person who has visited close to a dozen China buffets, this buffet reaches the supreme tier for their excellent customer service. Our server was very kind and came up to us to chat, he said he recognizes his regulars and wanted to know where we were from. Even with a small conversation, I can see that this server prides in getting to know his customers, as well as going above and beyond to get us everything we need. Our cup was never empty. I would also recommend the Oyster Chicken, which is the first time I have seen it in a buffet, very juicy and a flavor like no other. Excellent staff, A+ customer service, and a great selection of food.

We showed up 20 minutes before closing and they were super nice and the food was still good and fresh even that close to closing. Before they closed the buffet they asked if we wanted more food and told us to put the food we wanted on the plates and we could take it in boxes when we were done. Butter shrimp was delicious, I'm not a fan of Asian cuisine but this is one place that I'll be back to. Great food great staff and reasonably priced.

Ordered General Tso Chicken - tough and not fresh. Egg roll was the same. Quality has declined, prices haven’t. $14 for an entree i ate half of and will toss the other half.

The food was cold. You could tell it had been sitting there for hours. The health department needs to inspect there buffet bar to make sure it's keeping the food hot. I have traveled the world ate at many different places and this has to rate in my top 5 worst places to eat! Don't waste your money here. 🤮🤢

This is our favorite restaurant. They treat us like family. The food is delicious and there are a lot of options. This is the one place we can take the kids and no one argues about dinner. Love it.

I really liked this place. Honestly, the food was alright. But the service was outstanding. The guy who runs it is the nicest man you’ll meet and really cared about how we enjoyed our time there. I saw him talk to another family as he was helping them out and he had memorized what they all get to drink! What a guy.

Food was not hot. Most items were dried out and over cooked.

Nice buffet with a great selection. We've been several times before and always enjoy ourselves. Glad to see that the sushi was fresh and items were replenished regularly. The staff is also very friendly and answered our questions about the food. Best Chinese in the area that we've found.

After trying to decipher the menu, the online Grubhub is different than what is listed for the restaurant itself, the Grubhub order would not process. So I called the place, the guy said they dont do Grubhub. So, no business from the 4 of us.!! Don't list you do Grubhub is you don't do it !!

Hidden gem! Best Chinese buffet I've been to in a long time and reasonably priced.

The food was quite old- like it had been sitting too long. A lot of the desserts had formed a "skin" over the whipped cream portions- and a majority of the chicken was overcooked and dried out from sitting too long. I found myself thinking that perhaps we made a big mistake coming there. The kids found plenty to eat, though- but then again their idea of quality food is chicken nuggets and bread rolls- and their grocery-store-quality sushi was just okay. Would never go back again.

We've been going to this restaurant when it was still in Clyde (a very long time). The food and service is usually really good but something has definitely changed. We went on Friday around 5 pm perhaps it was just a bad time for the buffet, but it was absolutely the worst I've ever had. The fried rice was clumpy burnt and had a chemical taste. All the meat was dry and the breading was falling off and honestly seemed like it was a few days old. I will say the soup was still pretty good thus the 2 stars.

The selection here is AMAZING. Definitely so much better compared to where I come from, San Antonio. The decorations around the restaurant make it feel very warm, welcoming, and comforting! I feel like I gained 5 years of luck just walking through the entrance.

If you are looking for a great Asian-style meal, the New Happy Garden Restaurant (133 Waynesville Shopping Plaza) is it! My wife and I usually enjoy the buffet but because of the COVID-19 restrictions they are not allowed to have it right now. Instead, last night we ate from the menu. I had the Triple Delight Meal (shrimp, beef, and chicken with bamboo shoots, peanuts, celery, and spicy sauce). It was delicious and the portions are huge! Try their Crab Rangoon and Spring Rolls, too, but bring an appetite! This is my favorite Asian-style restaurant in Western NC hands down!

We got takeout here for the first time and absolutely loved it! The website is really well done and easy to navigate and the food was all delicious and very fresh. We really enjoyed the spring rolls, which we found out are house made daily; they are peppery and well balanced! We also noticed that a couple of classic items had a different house touch/ flavor to them. We will be back!
